Use your own vehicle to explore or access public transit within the city of St. Thomas.
The bus depots, train stations, and airports in London or Toronto ensure you can easily reach any destination.
London is a 20-minute drive, Toronto is just over a 2-hour drive, and key highways and waterways are easily accessible.
Three border crossings into Michigan and New York are within a 2.5-hour drive from Elgin County.

June 27th was Canadian Multiculturalism Day, and so members of the Local Immigration Partnership, City Hall, the Mayor, the MPP and community members came together to celebrate “both the tremendous value that immigrants bring to Canada as well as the tremendous opportunity Canada, including St. Thomas offers immigrants.”
